Blue Cheese Crostini with Toasted Almonds and Honey

  • Pair with Cuvée Blanc
Primary Ingredients

15, ¹/2 -inch thick baguette slices cut diagonally

½ cup blanched sliced almonds

6-ounces blue cheese, such as Roquefort or Maytag

honey

olive oil

salt and black pepper

Primary Technique
  1. Preheat oven to 375˚F.
  2. Place the baguette slices on a parchment-lined sheet pan and brush with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and black pepper; place in the preheated oven and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove and let cool.
  4. Place the sliced almonds on a parchment-lined sheet pan and cook in preheated oven until lightly browned about 8-10 minutes; remove from oven and let cool.
  5. Evenly distribute the blue cheese over the toasted baguette slices and sprinkle the toasted almonds over the cheese. Lightly drizzle each baguette
  6. Slice with honey and serve.
