We have some special news to share with our Wine Club family. After 25 years with St. Francis, Bob Aldridge is retiring. For many of you, Bob is a familiar and friendly face at the winery, and his warmth and presence have been part of countless St. Francis memories.
Whether you met Bob in the Member Parlor, at a Wine Club event, around town, or alongside his wife, Tracey, you likely remember his warm smile and genuine interest in getting to know the people around him. Bob was never just a leader behind the scenes. He took the time to build meaningful relationships with our members, guests, and team, and that genuine care is what made him so special to our winery family.
Bob is retiring from his role as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards. Throughout his career, he helped guide both St. Francis and our sister properties: Sequoia Grove, Résonance, and Domaine Carneros through years of growth and change, always with a steady hand and deep appreciation for the people and places that make these wineries special.
Bob shared, “It has been the honor of my professional life to be part of this family, and I am grateful beyond words for the trust, support, and friendships we’ve built over these many years.”
Rick Bonitati, President and CEO of St. Francis Winery & Vineyards, shared his appreciation for Bob’s 25 years of service: “On behalf of our ownership, the Kopf family, I want to express our deepest gratitude to Bob for his extraordinary commitment and leadership over the past 25 years. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside Bob for the past nine years, and his integrity, steady leadership, and dedication to excellence have shaped every part of our organization. His impact on our wineries and our people will be felt for years to come.”
We’ll certainly miss seeing his smiling face around the winery, and we wish Bob and Tracey all the best as they begin this next chapter.
Please join us in raising a glass to Bob and 25 wonderful years!
