Many Grapes. One Purpose.
Some wines are built around a single grape. This one is built around an idea. Each vintage, our winemakers select the varietals that best deliver what this wine is meant to be: rich, dark-fruited, and deeply satisfying. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are natural anchors, but the selection doesn’t stop there. Whatever the vintage calls for, whatever the vineyards offer, that’s what goes in. The goal never changes. The blend earns it every year.
Vineyard Sourcing
Sauvignon Blanc thrives in Sonoma County, where it is carefully cultivated in our Sonoma Valley Wild Oak Vineyard and the Russian River Valley Lagomarsino Vineyard. We also source premium grapes from other renowned Sonoma County regions, including Alexander Valley and Bennett Valley. The warmer microclimates in these areas contribute rich, full flavors and aromatic intensity, while the cooler regions bring refreshing crispness to the wine. This harmonious blend creates a wine that is vibrant, balanced, and lively.
On their terms
Building a great blend starts long before anything goes into a bottle. After harvest, each varietal is handled separately from the start, cold-soaked to develop optimal color and flavor, then fermented in the vessel that suits it best.
Some varietals go into open-top tanks, where exposure to air during fermentation amplifies earthy complexity and bold fruit character. Others ferment in closed-top tanks, preserving structure and the deep, focused fruit that gives this blend its spine.
Once fermented, every component is aged in French oak barrels before the final assembly. The result isn't a formula. It's a judgment call, driven by taste, every time.
Dark, Rich &
Built to Drink.
That dark cherry and roasted plum you’re tasting? It starts in the ground. Our Red Blend draws predominantly from St. Francis estate vineyards, four sustainably farmed properties spread across Sonoma County that we know intimately, tended season after season with a clear sense of what each varietal is capable of producing here.
The wild herbs, the hint of toast, the savory spice threading through that long, silky finish — none of it is accidental. It’s what happens when the right grapes come from the right place, selected for what they contribute and handled with enough care to let them speak.
Pour another glass. It only gets better.
