Holiday Toy and Clothing Drive: Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation
Bring joy this season and SAVE!
This holiday season, we’re proud to continue our tradition of giving back to the community through our annual Toy & Clothing Holiday Gift Drive in partnership with the Valley of the Moon Children’s Foundation. This incredible nonprofit is dedicated to supporting abused, abandoned, and neglected children and youth in Sonoma County, including those in foster care.
From November 20 to December 18, we invite you to visit our tasting room and donate new, unwrapped gifts for children ages 5 and up—or gift cards—to help bring joy to local kids in need. As a token of our gratitude, you’ll receive 10% off your wine purchase during your visit.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference this holiday season. Thank you for helping us brighten the holidays for these deserving children!

About Valley of the Moon Children’s Center
SONOMA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES
FAMILY, YOUTH & CHILDREN’S SERVICES
Children’s Residential Programs
Mission: Valley of the Moon Children’s Center is a safe haven for children to feel protected, cared for, nurtured, respected and loved so they can begin their healing journey and transition into stable, loving homes.
The Valley of the Moon Children’s Center is part of the Family Youth & Children’s Services division of the Sonoma County Department of Human Services. It houses multiple programs, including two on-site residential programs: Valley of the Moon Children’s Home and Valley of the Moon STRTP.
Since the 1970s Valley of the Moon Children’s Home (VMCH) has provided temporary, emergency shelter care for children ages newborn through 17 who have entered foster care due to abuse, abandonment, neglect, or whose parents/guardians are unable to care for them. While we work to transition them to a family setting, youth live at VMCH while building relationships with our staff to begin the healing journey.
Valley of the Moon STRTP opened in July of 2024. Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTP) are designed to support foster youth who have experienced trauma and are affected by complex mental health issues that prevent them from safely living within a family setting. While at the STRTP, youth receive intensive treatment to address issues associated with trauma, mental health, and/or substance use. Youth can stay in the STRTP program for anywhere from three months to one year depending on their needs. The goal is to transition these youth back to their families or another family home or, in some cases, to an independent living environment as soon as they are able to be safe and successful in these settings.
