PRIVATE EVENT POLICIES

Please contact St. Francis if your group is delayed, as a staff member will be waiting for your arrival.  If your group is more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to alter the format of your event as needed to avoid scheduling conflicts.  Even if your group arrives late, your event will end at the designated time unless we agree otherwise.  We have scheduled 3 hours for reception and lunch events;
3½ hours for dinner events. Additional hours will incur an additional fee, and we reserve the right to charge you a reasonable fee and any out of pocket expenses we incur for any additional time your group is at our facility.

PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS

A non-refundable 50% deposit and this signed contract will confirm event. Payment in full is due five (5) days prior to date of event.

GUEST COUNT

A final guaranteed count is required five (5) days prior to the event. It is the responsibility of the client to inform St. Francis Winery of any food allergies or dietary restrictions of guests when the final guest count is given.  This count will be used as a basis for purchasing, scheduling and preparation.  Thereafter, the number may be increased at the quoted rate per person, but not decreased.  In the event the guarantee count goes below twenty percent (20%) of the planned count, prices are subject to change.  In the event the client fails to notify St. Francis Winery of the five (5) day count, St. Francis Winery will consider the planned number of guests indicated on the contract as the final guarantee and charge accordingly.

CANCELATION POLICY

If event is canceled within ninety (90) days, client will forfeit the fifty percent (50%) of event total; if event is canceled under thirty (30) days, client will be billed the total event price.

GRATUITY & TAXES

There is a gratuity of eighteen percent (18%) applied to all events, as well as current sales tax.

GUIDELINES

We reserve the right to charge your account for broken glassware or any items that are taken from the property during your event.  We also reserve the right to charge your account for any property damage caused by your group.

If additional upon costs are incurred after final invoice has been mailed/faxed and/or paid, any incidentals will be charged to the credit card on file.

If you go over the allotted time for your event, each additional hour is $500.

St. Francis Winery reserves the right to ask for a photo I.D. of any guest being served alcohol. Under no circumstances will minors be served alcohol.  If minors are being given alcohol by other guests, St. Francis Winery reserves the right to stop all alcohol service. It is your responsibility to enforce this law and you agree to notify us if any attendees in your group are under the age of 21. We reserve the right to refuse anyone service for any reason and to remove anyone from our property that is behaving in an inappropriate manner (as reasonably determined by winery staff and management).

You assume full responsibility for any injury, theft, loss or damages to your group, third parties or our property caused by your group and agree to indemnify, defend and hold St. Francis Winery harmless in connection therewith.  You acknowledge that consuming alcohol can impair your ability to drive a car and you agree to indemnify, defend and hold St. Francis Winery harmless to the fullest extent of the law if you or a member of your group drives drunk and causes any injury, loss or damages to your group, third parties or any property.

No vendors (band, photographers, etc.) will be served a meal unless prior arrangements have been made with St. Francis Winery.

Client shall indemnify, defend and hold St. Francis Winery and its agents, contractors of employees, harmless from and against any and all claims, actions, damages and their successor and assigns and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, caused by or arising out of any act, negligence or omission of client’s guest.

Excused non-performance:  If for any reason beyond its control, but not limited to acts of God, acts of war, accidents, government requisition, St. Francis Winery is unable to perform its obligations under this agreement, such non-performance is excused and St. Francis Winery may terminate this agreement without further liability of any nature, upon return of the clients deposit.  In no event shall St. Francis Winery be liable for consequential damages of any nature for any reason whatsoever.

Due to the availability of product and fluctuating market conditions, St. Francis Winery reserves the right to substitute product or adjust price accordingly.  Should this situation arise the client will be contacted prior to any change.
